A series of insights and inspirations from Quinn’s creative strategists. Today, we hear from GiAnna Wyatt.
Who or what inspires you?
Travel is my biggest inspiration. Every time I visit a new place I learn how to step outside of my comfort zone and adapt. I love to go to a new place and immerse myself in the destination. The most inspired I’ve ever been was traveling on a bicycle trip through France with Quinn client, VBT Bicycling and Walking Vacations. I was able to completely disconnect, be active and live the French life. I love to experience the unfamiliar, whether I’m sampling new food, practicing yoga, dancing to unfamiliar music or chatting with strangers, I come home feeling more inspired than ever!
Before my time at Quinn, I traveled the world as a journalist and that was a lot of fun. After visiting almost every state in the continental U.S. and traveling internationally, I found myself in the city that never sleeps – New York City! When I discovered how much travel excited me both professionally and personally, I knew Quinn was the right place to be. I wanted to approach PR the same way that I did when I was a journalist, by telling travel stories. Quinn’s creative tactics allow me to do work for clients the same way that I did as a writer. At Quinn we don’t just share details on our clients, we create sensory experiences. This is where the magic happens.
If not PR, what?
If I could pick any other career, I would love to work in the music industry as music and travel are my two biggest passions. I love music and enjoy discovering new songs and artists in the same way that I love to discover new places. It is inspiring and influences all parts of my life.
