Senior account executive - New York

Responsibilities:

 

Secure consistent and quality media placements with proactive pitching

Responsible for client satisfaction and strategic results 

Maintain client relationships through meetings, conference calls, general contact

Oversee the management of daily activities on accounts, taking the lead, as well as troubleshooting for others with minimal supervision

Write media pitches, press releases, media alerts, photo captions, etc.

Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers

Prepare meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.

Organize and attend events, including press trips and media tours

Monitor, engage, assist in providing strategic counsel and brainstorm innovative campaigns on behalf of clients in the digital media space

Recognize if there is a potential client problem and bring it to supervisor’s attention with a suggested solution 

Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients

Assist with developing strategic and creative integrated PR initiatives

Stay on top of current industry news, trends and technology

Requirements:

 

Undergraduate degree in related field

Three or more years work experience real estate and/or lifestyle PR

Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment

Proven ability to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Solid portfolio of secured media coverage including newspaper, magazine, broadcast, and online coverage  

Comprehensive knowledge of the media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers

Comprehensive knowledge of the PR industry

Working knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

Associate Vice President - Miami

Responsibilities:

 

Oversee account work of three people, providing client management, training, coaching, editing, mentoring and overall sound leadership

Regularly develop and pitch story ideas aligning with client’s goals and a deep understanding of the needs of key media outlets

Provide strategic direction to clients and team

Responsible for client satisfaction, strategic results and maintaining healthy relationship

Edit all press materials, plans, partnership decks, meetings agendas, notes and reports

Provide strategic, strong and consistent media results and measurement

Handle crisis communications with guidance from senior leadership

Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers and ensure team is developing deep relationships that lead to direct results

Provide ideation, campaigns, strategic events and partnerships

Provide social media strategy, advice, research, campaign ideas and provide and/or supervise communications management

Recognize and bring client issues to supervisor’s attention with a suggested solution

Support with the development of new business opportunities

Handle client issues independently

Perform research and analysis of clients and the marketplace

Stay on top of current industry news and trends

Supervise the creation of strong media lists and initiate high level journalist outreach.

Work in close collaboration with other Quinn leaders and team members to ensure consistency with overall company communications strategy

Requirements:

 

Be a team player, self-starter and passionate about PR

Undergraduate degree in related field

Five or more years work experience in travel/lifestyle PR and corporate communications

Three years in a supervisory capacity

Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment

Proven ability to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Solid portfolio of secured media coverage to include national, magazine, newspaper, TV and online clips (big-picture business placements are a must).

Comprehensive knowledge of the media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers

Comprehensive knowledge of the industry

Working knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)

Online community management experience (Facebook page or group administrator, forum administrator, etc.) a plus

Fluency in Spanish a plus

Knowledge of Web design, search engine optimization, and basic HTML are a plus

Responsibilities:

Stay up to speed on current industry news, trends and technology

Develop and maintain solid media relationships with journalists, especially in the travel, lifestyle and food & wine realms

Maintain client relations through meetings, conference calls, events, general contact

Prepare meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.

When needed, organize and attend events

Assist with developing strategic and creative PR initiatives

Monitor and engage on behalf of clients in digital media space as appropriate

Vet media and social influencer requests on behalf of clients

Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients (audits)

Assist with developing strategic and creative integrated PR initiatives

Requirements:

 

BA or BS in related field

Minimum one-year related experience in travel and lifestyle PR

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with food and wine clients a plus

Proficient in AP style

Proficiency using Cision/Cisionpoint, news wires, MS applications

Working knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and ability to assist clients with developing strategies on these platforms

Familiarity with industry-appropriate bloggers and social media influencers
