Quinn Miami and our clients staged some of the most happening Art Basel events for the world’s art-and-design VIPs who flooded into one of the biggest and most exclusive art fairs.
We kicked it off with DJ duo Elijah Wood and Zach Cowie of Wooden Wisdom on the ones and twos at Brickell City Centre’s $1-billion colossal construction site, where more than 400 guests witnessed the first-time illumination of the CLIMATE RIBBON (TM), a $30-million installation of art and science that undulates across three blocks, while British pop artist Allen Jones unveiled his world-class oeuvre —a 6-ton, 20-foot sculpture entitled “Dancers." W South Beach was this year’s Art Basel place to “see and be seen.” Quinn paired the South Beach hotspot with Surface Magazine for an exclusive design dialogue led by Miami Heat’s Amare Stoudemire followed by the glossy’s official Art Basel closing bash “The Party” with rock-star-turned-designer Lenny Kravitz. Aby Rosen and Samantha Boardman Rosen hosted their super-private, celeb-studded annual dinner at The Dutch -- W South Beach, where they were joined by Dee and Tommy Hilfiger, Katie Homes, Larry Gagosian, Elle Macpherson, Julian Lennon and Alex Rodriguez.
After passing through three check points guests decamped to the Dom Pérignon after-party at W South Beach’s Wall nightclub in celebration of Limited Edition by Jeff Koons co-hosted by Alex Dellal, Stavros Niarchos and Vito Schnabel. Guests were entertained by DJs Zoe Kravitz and Ruckus with a special DJ performance by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys.

Two nights later we brought together Aloft South Beach and Hospitality Design Magazine for a master panel of interior designers riffing on trends in art and hospitality to an audience that included tennis and interior-design great Venus Williams.
LIV’s resident DJ Mike Deuce spun the hottest sounds at the Solesdi Boffi, Henge and Listone Giordano showroom soiree hosted with MIAMI Magazine and Modern Luxury Interiors, while guests took in the digital artist Joel Fitzpatrick and Miami artist Gloria Sesana.
Phew, good thing Art Basel only happens once a year.
Until next year,
