Fancy a trip to our Northern neighbor? Art lovers will soon be flocking to Saskatoon, where Remai Modern will welcome visitors into its Jenga-like, $63M complex this Fall.
The contemporary museum is a first for the Saskatchewan area, known mainly for its prairie grasslands and mineral mines. Among the pieces on display are 406 Pablo Picasso linocut prints and a glowing stairwell, “…lit by 165 pieces of neon arranged in a pattern to evoke a mythical magical carpet…”.
