Assistant Account Executive - LA

Responsibilities:

Manage daily activities on accounts

Work with manager to assist with day-to-day contact for media and clients

Write first draft of media pitches, press releases, media alerts, biographies, etc.

Stay up to speed on current industry news, trends and technology

Secure consistent and quality media placements with active pitching

Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and social media influencers especially in the travel and lifestyle realms

Maintain client relations through meetings, conference calls, events, general contact

Prepare meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.

Vet media and influencer requests on behalf of clients

Monitor and engage on behalf of clients in digital media space as appropriate

Assist with brainstorming strategic, creative and integrated PR initiatives

Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients (audits)

When needed, organize and attend events

Requirements:

BA or BS in related field

Minimum one-year related experience in hospitality, travel consumer/CPG and/or lifestyle PR

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in AP style

Proficiency using Cision/Cisionpoint, Meltwater, Google Analytics, MS applications

Working knowledge of social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

Familiarity with industry-appropriate thought leaders and influencers

Agency experience is a plus

Maintain client relations through meetings, conference calls, events, general contact

Prepare meeting agendas, notes, quarterly reports, etc.

When needed, organize (with guidance) and attend events

Assist with developing strategic and creative PR initiatives

Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients (audits)

Monitor current industry news, trends and technology in real estate, travel, F&B and/or lifestyle realms

Assist with social media efforts for clients, as appropriate

Social Media Associate - NY

Responsibilities:

Manage organic posting on client social media channels, ensuring a brand-consistent voice, tone and aesthetic

Create and supply cross-channel content calendars, communicating with internal and client-side stakeholders through creation and review

Monitor and engage via client accounts, ensuring questions, comments and DMs are promptly addressed

Identify and curate user-generated content (UGC)

Generate insightful analytics reports for clients

Assist with paid social, blog content, and email campaigns

Assist in vetting influencer and partnership requests

Analyze, review, and report on all efforts to maximize results

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in a social/digital media-focused position (agency or in-house)

Undergraduate degree in a related field

Working proficiency with all major social networks, specifically Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn

Experience with social reporting, scheduling and listening tools, as well as Google Analytics

Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager and social ads

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Some experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) or email marketing clients (i.e. Mailchimp, Constant Contact) preferred

Graphic design or photo/video editing experience a plus
