Departures visits Anguilla, one year after Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Irma, to report on how the destination is recovering. Speaking to several developers in the area like Jeff Goldestein, developer of Zemi Beach House, he shares, “All the major hotels closed and had to do one level or another of rebuilding. You could say we went from a tourist economy to a construction economy.” 

“Anguilla stands out from most of the region because of its, “intimately scaled accommodations, exquisite (and low-key) dining and calm demeanor.”
