Style meets substance on the Upper West Side, reports The Wall Street Journal. The Chamberlain and 207W79, both new for-sale developments, “are stately echoes of an older generation of grand apartment buildings that line Central Park West, but with contemporary flourishes,” writes Josh Barbanel. 

Developed by Simon Baron/Quadrum Global and Anbau Enterprises respectively, the properties also pay tribute to the cherished neighborhood that is loved “just as it is.” FXFOWLE Architects modeled The Chamberlain after the majestic UWS art deco buildings from the late 1920s and early 1930s. Morris Adjmi Architects used limestone and brick with vertical terra-cotta panels in a floral motif and casement windows for 207W79.
